Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring proper patient identification, verifying orders, and preparing patients for exams. You will also use proper imaging techniques to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality diagnostic exams.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure proper patient identification and verification of orders
  • Prepare patients for exams and use proper imaging techniques
  • Demonstrate proficiency on all clinical equipment within the department
  • Complete and annotate a medically acceptable exam, following ACR guidelines
  • Exhibit good safety practices in body substance protection, cleaning of equipment, and using proper sterile techniques
Qualifications:
  • ARRT Registry or ARDMS Registry
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification, issued by American Heart Association
  • More than one year of Ultrasound experience, preferred
