Transmission Specialist

As a Transmission Technician at W.W. Williams Company, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing routine maintenance and emergency services for heavy duty trucks and diesel engines. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality repairs and maintenance on transmissions, diesel engines, and heavy duty trucks as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork, including repair information on work orders and information for state and emission inspections.
- Diagnose failure of vehicles by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.
- Inspect vital parts to ensure they are in proper operating conditions.
- Create a job repair plan based on the diagnosis.
Requirements:
- 3+ Years of transmission repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck or fleet dealership or shop environment.
- Strong working knowledge of multiple systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting diesel engines.
- Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
