Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is $220,000-$240,000, with opportunities for bonuses based on performance and quality metrics. Our comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, health insurance, and retirement savings options.
Job Description
As a Primary Care Physician at Oak Street Health, you'll play a vital role in providing equitable and effective value-based healthcare to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and diagnosing patients at our local clinics
- Overseeing and directing primary care services
- Prescribing and administering pharmaceutical treatments and medication
- Maintaining accurate Patient Electronic Medical Record data via Canopy and Greenway
- Collaborating with regional and central leadership to meet health quality goals
- Working with Practice Managers to direct and manage the center care team
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- A medical degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- An active, non-probationary, unrestricted State License
- An active DEA license
- US work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with experience in:
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics
- Practicing medicine among Geriatric populations
- Value-Based Healthcare Models
- Collaborative settings to ensure positive health outcomes
