Job Overview

Serve as a key member of our team specializing in custom automation projects. As a Senior Metrology Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and expertise to customers worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Represent metrology products and provide in-depth technical support on inspection machines to clients globally.
  • Demonstrate measurement capabilities to existing and potential clients, ensuring seamless solutions for their needs.
  • Identify and communicate new measurement requirements to the development team, driving innovation in our metrology offerings.
  • Collaborate with software design teams to develop applications and procedures that meet customer expectations.
  • Perform thorough testing and validation of new or specialized measurement applications, guaranteeing accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation, instructions, and reports to facilitate client understanding and adoption.
  • Process customer inquiries and troubleshoot software and machine issues efficiently, providing timely resolutions.
  • Train clients and service personnel on equipment programming and usage, ensuring they are equipped to maximize the value of our solutions.
Requirements
  • Possess experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM), preferably with gear inspection, and demonstrate proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably with five years of related metrology experience, and possess a strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Showcase experience in training and presenting technical content, effectively communicating complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Display proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and general software management, ensuring seamless collaboration and data analysis.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in manufacturing and inspection of gear components, demonstrating a deep understanding of metrology principles.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with technical systems, resolving complex issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with software testing and validation processes, ensuring the quality and reliability of our metrology solutions.
Compensation: $47.00 per hour
