Staff Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team at Carolina House. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients with a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude. Your primary goal will be to foster a supportive and therapeutic environment, recognizing patient safety as a top priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess physical and behavioral health needs of patients and develop individualized nursing care plans
- Provide and coordinate care, maintaining accurate medical records and educating patients and their families about various health conditions
- Administer medications accurately and document controlled substance medication administration
- Complete admission and discharge processes efficiently and accurately
- Exhibit therapeutic rapport with patients, maintaining professional boundaries and respectful communication
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- One or more years' nursing experience in a clinical area, preferably in mental health
- Current RN or LPN license in North Carolina
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification
