Production Laborer 3rd Shift

Job Summary
The Production Laborer is responsible for operating various equipment, including loaders, forklifts, bobcats, and yard tractors. This role involves shoveling material, completing daily sanitation tasks, loading and unloading raw materials trailers, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with their schedule.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Unload raw materials, wash trailers and tankers, and document all movements accurately.
- Climb silos and railcars, and use wrenches to service and inspect equipment.
- Complete lab testing as needed and follow all Company safety procedures, GMP, and guidelines.
- Perform daily sanitation tasks, including shoveling, sweeping, and washing the plant.
- Be able to work weekends, holidays, or cover other shifts as business needs arise.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Have at least 1 year of forklift experience.
- Demonstrate a solid work history and be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written form.
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience with shag trucks and tractor trailers.
- Be able to maintain composure in difficult situations and adapt to changing situations.
- Have superior time management skills and be able to follow direction.
- Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
Physical Demands
- Constantly required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
- Occasionally push, pull, up to 100 lbs. with both arms.
- Occasionally lift up to 80 lbs. with both arms.
- Frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
Work Environment
- Job functions will be carried out at a plant location in an environment of varying temperatures and with possible slippery surfaces.
