We are currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team at our TCA Special Surgery Center. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Job Summary

The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the operating room setting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing patients for surgery and maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment
  • Assisting with surgical procedures and providing anesthesia support as needed
  • Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
  • An active RN license and valid BCLS certification
  • ACLS certification as required by facility
  • CNOR certification preferred

About Our Facility

TCA Special Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center located in San Antonio, Texas. We perform over 350 cases per month and offer specialized services in orthopedic surgery, hand surgery, ENT, neurotology, podiatry, and plastic surgery. Our center is conveniently located near I-10 and Highway 410 and 1604, making it easily accessible for patients and staff alike.
