Company Overview

The Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support our Music Coordinator in the operation of the Music department.

 

About the Job

We are offering a part-time position with an estimated salary of $25,000 - $30,000 per year, depending on experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Music Coordinator to plan and coordinate music for all weekend masses, holy days, weddings, funerals, and other parish events.
  • Respond to administrative inquiries and resolve questions related to the Music department.
  • Set up for rehearsals, equipment, and necessary materials for the parish choirs.
  • Collaborate with the Music Coordinator to prepare and schedule rehearsals.
  • Maintain organization of the rehearsal room and music area of the sanctuary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Music Coordinator.

 

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detailed-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate volunteer musicians and choirs.
  • Experience with computer software and Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to lift and carry equipment up to 30lbs.
