Patient Care Associate

Join the Massachusetts General Hospital team as a Patient Care Associate in the Endoscopy Unit. This role is crucial in providing total gastrointestinal care to patients. As a PCA, you will work under the direction of the RN and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a procedural setting. Your duties will include responding to patient requests, safeguarding patient confidentiality, monitoring patients, and communicating in a respectful manner. You will also be responsible for handling patient care tasks such as monitoring vital signs and ADLs, supporting procedure room turnover, and contributing to the overall infection control program.
**Schedule:**
Day (7am-3pm / 7am-7pm), Evening (3pm-11pm), and Night (7pm-7am, 11pm-7a)
Rotational holiday and weekend schedule

Qualifications:
Must have recent experience, and/or training, in clinical patient care. Preferred: Licensed, certified, or enrolled student in a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT accredited program, at the time of hire, OR Candidate enrolled in a Nursing, Pre-Med, PA undergraduate program, with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed, at time of hire.
