The University of Wisconsin is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Anesthesiologist to join our esteemed Department of Anesthesiology. As a clinical faculty member, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the education and research endeavors of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care to surgical patients in our operating rooms, utilizing your expertise in critical care and anesthesiology.
  • Collaborate with our ICU teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical teaching, mentoring residents and fellows in critical care medicine and anesthesiology.
  • Contribute to departmental administrative and committee work, supporting the clinical and scholarly missions of our institution.
Requirements:
  • Terminal degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
  • Completion of anesthesiology residency program and certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology
  • Subspecialty fellowship training in critical care and certification by an appropriate specialty board
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration
