Job Description:
As a Senior Laboratory Animal Management Professional at Inotiv, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our research teams. Your primary responsibility will be to provide guidance and support to research technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. You will work closely with study coordinators to plan and coordinate daily activities, guaranteeing seamless execution of studies. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of technician training, safety protocols, and environmental monitoring results.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement training programs for research technicians
• Coordinate and supervise daily activities of research technicians
• Maintain accurate records of technician training, safety protocols, and environmental monitoring results
• Collaborate with study coordinators to ensure efficient planning and execution of studies
• Communicate effectively with principal investigators and management team to address any concerns or needs

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in science (biology or equivalent) with 3-year direct laboratory animal work experience, or associate degree with 5 years direct laboratory animal work experience, or 8 years of direct laboratory animal work experience without a college science degree, or equivalent combination of related education and required work experience
• Preferred experience in animal laboratory research, including dosing, in-life sample collections, and necropsy collections
• Desired background in animal laboratory management
