About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Facility Security Officer to join our team at V2X. As a key member of our global security program, you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and operating a Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) in an effective and comprehensive manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Clearance Management: Maintain security clearances, facilities, personnel, and a listing of approved personnel for access.
  • Program Coordination: Coordinate and monitor sensitive aspects of the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Energy (DOE), or other industrial security program, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
  • Security Briefings and Education: Monitor and conduct security briefings and security education programs to ensure personnel are aware of security protocols and procedures.
  • Investigations and Compliance: Investigate or oversee the investigation of losses and security violations, and recommend corrective action to ensure compliance with security regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Update inventories of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) materials to ensure accurate tracking and control.
  • Security Procedures and Protocols: Implement global and site-specific security procedures, checklists, process controls, and practices for SCI, including preparation of documents and destruction of records.
  • Government Interface: Interface with Government Special Security Officer (SSO) for approved/certified processes and periodic security inspections.
  • Clearance Processing: Submit security clearance paperwork and supporting documentation through the SCI screening process.
  • Physical Security: Manage the physical security of operating facilities, equipment, and documentation to ensure the protection of sensitive information.
  • Information Security: Assist with information security policy and procedure development and implementation to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Deployment and Support: Be available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to US forces worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.
  • Contractor Oversight: Assist in oversight or escort for contractors on repair/renovation projects as required.
  • SCIF Operations: Establish, maintain, and operate a SCIF, and prepare SCIF accreditations to ensure compliance with security regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or High School diploma and 14 years' related experience with DSS FSO certification supporting SCI facilities and personnel security clearance activities.
  • Experience: In-depth knowledge in DOD or other industrial security program, and in-depth knowledge of the DOD or other government security regulatory manuals.
  • Skills: Ability to instruct others in security procedures, requirements, protocols, and operations, and working knowledge of the following Department of Defense and Industrial Security Requirements: 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual; DOD OMSEC Supplement to Industrial Security Manual for Safeguarding Classified Information; DOD DoD Information Security Program Regulation; DOD, Vol 1 Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI); and Contractor Administrative Security Volume 1.
  • Language: Fluent in the English language (written and oral).
  • Citizenship: US Citizenship, Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • Polygraph: Some positions or assignments may require a Counterintelligence (CI) Scope Polygraph, especially those requiring access to TDN2.
