Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Walnut Creek, California. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical or medical procedures.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and anesthesia, with excellent communication and clinical skills. You will work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive safe and effective anesthesia care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations of patients to identify potential risks and develop an anesthesia plan.
  • Administer anesthesia medications and monitor patients' vital signs during and after surgery.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgeons to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of patient care.
  • Perform procedures outside of the operating room, such as intubation and arterial line placement, in accordance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as a CRNA in California.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $160,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
