Casing Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Casing Technician to join our team at Ur-Energy. As a key member of our drilling crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation of wells, providing top-notch support to drill contractors, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Well Installation and Support: Assure drill rigs are supplied with necessary casing materials, equipment, and supplies; measure casing and deliver cementing equipment and materials to drill sites; troubleshoot and repair cementers and grouters.
• Maintenance and Operations: Ensure adequate drill water is available; ensure environmental aspects of drilling programs comply with regulations; operate heavy equipment as assigned.
• Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment; follow company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; 1-3 months related experience and/or training; valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills; ability to read and understand documents; basic math skills; familiarity with computer and tablet use.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $ $55,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.
