We are seeking a self-disciplined, highly motivated new team member who is interested in helping clients achieve their financial goals and building a great career as a life insurance agent in the process. We offer a competitive salary of $65,000+ at plan commission. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and group-term life insurance for full-time agents and their dependents.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and employ marketing and business plans to grow your client base.
- Discuss financial concerns and needs with potential clients identified during the prospecting process.
- Help clients achieve their financial goals by presenting a breadth of solutions offered by our competitive suite of products and services.
- Offer high-quality life insurance, fixed annuities, long-term care insurance, securities, investments, and other products for insurance and retirement, education, and business planning needs.
- Hone your knowledge and professional skills by successfully completing the New York Life training curriculum.
- Continue your education on evolving insurance industry protocols to adequately fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims to customers' satisfaction.
- Work with policyholders to develop and deliver risk management strategies that fit their individual profiles.
- Maintain and grow existing portfolios by developing and implementing effective and attentive sales strategies that cultivate long-term customer loyalty.
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Leverage personal networks and contacts and engage your community to identify prospects.
- Savvy business sense required.
- Experience in sales and implementing growth strategies a plus.
- Uncompromising integrity and responsibility required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively share complex ideas.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Basic computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office suite are necessary.
- Active Life and Health insurance license is a strong bonus.
- Previous health insurance or life insurance experience is a plus.
- Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingual Speaking (English/Spanish) a plus.
