Job Title: Coordinator I

Job Summary:

Health Advocates is seeking a part-time Coordinator I to provide moderately complex clerical support within an assigned department. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, intermediate to advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and respond to inquiries in writing, by phone, email, and fax
  • Sort and distribute correspondence and reports
  • Generate computer reports using Microsoft Excel
  • Enter data into a paperless date entry system
  • Prepare email requests and gather documents
  • Retrieve and file correspondence, scanning, faxing, copying, and distributing various reports and data
  • Maintain and update various department logs and journals

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 2 or more years of experience performing moderately complex general office assignments in a government, private, or public service organization
  • Previous experience generating computer reports using Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
