Picking and Packing:

  • Accurately pick products from shelves using an RF Gun.
  • Pack products securely to prevent damage during shipping.
  • Scan, Label, and prepare packages for shipment.

Receiving Goods:

  • Accept and process incoming deliveries.
  • Verify the accuracy of shipment contents against packing lists.
  • Unpack and inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
  • Put away stock into pick locations directed by an RF Gun.

Inventory:

  • Store products accurately in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform regular stock checks and assist in inventory audits.
  • Ensure that all products meet quality standards before shipment.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies to your team leader or the warehouse management team.

Warehouse Safety & Organization:

  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
  • Ensure products are stored in a manner that is easily accessible and identifiable.
  • Report hazards to your line manager immediately.
  • Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, and trolleys safely and responsibly.
  • Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
  • RF Scanning experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to a certain weight).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

The role involves some physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

The warehouse environment may be subject to varying temperatures.

Given the value of the inventory, random checks will be undertaken.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with warehouse opening hours ranging from 7 am – 5 pm.

I accept the responsibilities and duties of the Warehouse Operator position and understand that failure to maintain these may lead to my dismissal.
