About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist- Schoolage to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with school personnel to design and implement individualized therapeutic interventions for school-age children.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience working with children with various needs. Your expertise in occupational therapy will enable you to create and implement effective treatment plans that promote functional independence and participation in daily activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for school age children
  • Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations
  • Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs
  • Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel
  • Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly
  • Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current New York State Occupational Therapy License
  • Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant's welcome to apply
  • Bilingual is a plus
