Quality Control Manager Job Description

Big-D is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to join our team. As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and codes.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure uniformity and consistency in workmanship.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure quality control efforts are aligned with project schedules.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential quality control issues.
  • Prepare and maintain quality control records, including test certifications and deficiency tracking logs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
  • 5 years of related experience working on industrial construction projects.
  • Advanced understanding of construction quality control and ability to manage and supervise teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and contract documents.
