Job Title: Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse to join our team at Asheville Detox Center. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting vital assessments, analyzing medical records, managing medication, and fulfilling client needs. If you are a motivated and empathetic individual with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Emphasize preventative care and disease management.
  • Facilitate COWS, CIWA, vital assessments every four hours for clients.
  • Complete intake nursing assessments.
  • Administer medication, including those for detox protocols, psychiatric care, and medical conditions.
  • Facilitate medical orders.
  • Interpret Urinalysis results and provide reports for client's medical records.
  • Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere strictly to confidentiality requirements.
  • Respond quickly in the case of a medical emergency, following facility protocols.
  • Participate in all provided, required training, as outlined by facility protocol, Joint Commission standards, and other local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, observations, and incidents in electronic health records.
  • Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including counselors, medical, and support staff as needed, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Valid, unencumbered nursing license.
