Job Summary
The Staff Speech Language Therapist will assume responsibility for a designated group of patients, providing speech and language therapy evaluations, education, and treatments in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in performing speech-language therapy evaluations, treatments, and education, and have a strong understanding of theoretical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various speech and language disorders.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of improvement and set realistic goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress updates to patients and families.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure in Speech and Language Pathology in the State of Indiana.
- Certification by ASHA for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology or Clinical Fellowship Year Registration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $73,000 - $93,000 annually, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and continuing education assistance.
