Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Troy Branch team as a Universal Banker. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, sales, and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating and meeting customer needs.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, balancing cash drawers and adhering to established cash limits and cash handling policies.
• Meet with customers to discuss their financial needs, opening or modifying accounts to address their needs and maintain or expand customer relationships.
• Research customer questions and direct problem resolution to maintain customer relationships.
• Solicit new business, cross-sell company products and services, and support sales goals.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local consumer protection laws governing loan origination, including the SAFE Act and SAFE Act registration and renewal rules.
• Adhere to requirements pertaining to branch security, fraud prevention, and the Bank Secrecy Act.

Requirements:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4-6 years of customer service experience required, with experience in a financial institution preferred.
• Ability to achieve NMLS certification and Signature Guarantee certification.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Quality problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cooperative work team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to work with other programs and bank-related software.
