About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Maintenance Specialist - Building Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and conducting repairs to ensure the efficient operation of our hotels' facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct repairs as needed
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, or machines to identify potential issues
  • Maintain inventory and requisition parts and supplies as required
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background
  • Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $28/hour, with opportunities for additional compensation based on performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
