Occupational Therapist Job DescriptionAbout the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Kingston Healthcare. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping residents achieve their full potential and maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate residents' abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Create and run therapy sessions to help people with physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and the care team to set therapy goals.
  • Teach caregivers and staff how to integrate therapeutic activities into daily routines.
  • Monitor residents' progress to ensure they receive the support needed.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • A license to practice Occupational Therapy in Ohio.
  • The ability to focus on helping individuals and adapt to changing situations.
  • A friendly and communicative personality to create a welcoming environment.
