Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled individual to supervise the self-administered medication of Assisted Living/memory care residents. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in a senior living community and possess a high school diploma. Previous experience as a Caregiver or Med Tech is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  1. Supervising self-administered medication for the Assisted Living Department in compliance with Federal and State regulations as directed by the LPN/LVN and/or Assisted Living Director.
  2. Reporting any changes in resident health and providing proper documentation to the LPN/LVN and/or Assisted Living Director.
  3. Responding quickly to emergencies and maintaining close communication with all departments and staff members.
  4. Providing educational meetings for residents and staff as requested by the supervisor.
  5. Understanding the role in the Safety and Disaster Plan.
  6. Maintaining confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ years of experience in a senior living community.
  • Caregiver and/or Med Tech certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a senior living community.
  • A high school diploma.
