Phlebotomy Specialist

Work Schedule:
100% FTE, Day Shift. Monday - Friday position with start times between 8:00AM and 9:00AM. You will work 1 in every 6 Saturday's from 7:30AM - 1:30PM and you will be on call 1 in every 6 Saturday's.
If working on Saturday, you will have one day off during the week and add 2 hours throughout the week.
Flexible start time required based on operational need. You may be eligible for up to a $2,500 sign-on bonus. You will work at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages.
- Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling.
- Complete specimen receiving and specimen processing as needed.
- Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system as needed.

Requirements:
- Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred - Completion of accredited Phlebotomy Training program and clinical rotation.
- Minimum -Preferred - One (1) year of experience in phlebotomy and/or healthcare
- Preferred - Phlebotomist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent
