Select Medical Corporation, a joint venture with Cleveland Clinic, offers a rewarding opportunity for New Graduate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Akron, OH. This 12-13 week training program provides a seamless transition into a successful career as a Registered Nurse.

Salary Information: We offer a competitive salary of $$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, along with a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Job Description: As a Registered Nurse at Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital, you will provide advanced treatment and comprehensive care to patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with physicians and preceptors to implement assessment plans, evaluations, and follow-up care for patients.
  • Initiating ongoing systematic assessments of physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients and families.
  • Developing nursing care plans that contain problem identification, nursing diagnoses, orders, approaches, interventions, short-term goals, long-term goals, and discharge planning.
  • Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid State RN License.
  • A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
  • The flexibility to complete the requirements of the program.
