Job Summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide courteous and efficient service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked food and beverage area, as well as a clean and organized store environment.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet sales and customer service goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives and provide support as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic computer and point-of-sale system knowledge, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Cash handling skills and accuracy, with the ability to manage cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

You will be required to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move heavy objects as needed.
