About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric critical care
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Alaska Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
  • 1 year Nursing experience
