About the Role

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Assistant to support our pediatric therapy services. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with licensed therapists to provide care and treatment to patients in accordance with departmental standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist professional staff with age-specific care and treatment of patients, including transporting patients in a timely and safe manner.
  • Maintain organization and sanitation of physical space, equipment, and supplies, including setup/clean-up, safety checks, and departmental infection control and safety monitoring.
  • Inventories, orders, and restocks supplies in a timely manner.
  • Provide clerical or office support as needed.
  • Participate in maintaining and monitoring the work environment to ensure a continual state of Joint Commission readiness.

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience in working with children or within a hospital preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree may be beneficial for advancement opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
