**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Finance Operations Specialist to join our team at Area Temps, Inc. This part-time position will support our finance team in managing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring smooth operations across the department.

About the Role:

  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate entry of financial data into accounting systems.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records on a regular basis.
  • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, account analysis, and budgeting assistance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Maintain all financial documents, records, and files in an orderly and accessible manner, complying with company policies.
  • Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and resolve any financial discrepancies.

About You:

  • Must have 1 to 2 years of proven experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Must possess a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Must be computer literate with accurate data entry skills.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Must have a high attention to detail while working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
