About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Nurse First Assistant to join our team at Adventist Health. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, utilizing your expertise to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, providing expert first assistant duties as required
  • Coordinate patient care between the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and room staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Participate in preoperative assessment and planning for selected surgical patients, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience
  • Two years' perioperative nursing experience, preferably as a first assistant
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
  • Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification in the state of practice
  • Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) certification preferred
  • CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
