Veterinary Position Details

This position offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners. As a Veterinarian at Petco's Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals, you'll be part of a talented team dedicated to delivering exceptional care and service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality patient care through physical exams, disease diagnosis, and preventive measures.
  2. Maintain accurate medical records, including patient observations, exam results, diagnostics, treatments, and client interactions.
  3. Perform various surgical procedures, such as spays/neuters, abdominal exploratory, and mass removals.
  4. Develop personalized treatment plans for hospitalized patients based on thorough evaluations.
  5. Participate in collaborative efforts to improve care quality and communication among staff.

Compensation and Benefits:

Petco offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with an attractive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
