Medical Surgical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Travel Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Medical Surgical Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients, and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide bedside care for patients with a range of medical conditions, including those who are confused, agitated, and/or uncooperative.
- Administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs as needed.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures and provide support to their families.
- Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by physicians.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification
- 2 years of experience in acute care
