Nurse Specialist

This role provides direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The role is responsible for supervision of staff and ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
Responsibilities- Provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients.
- Assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.
- Administers all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
- Performs and fulfills all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster.
