Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Analyst to join our team at Haywood Regional Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the development of departmental goals, standards, and objectives that support the strategic plan and vision of the director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the director in managing staff relations, including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
  • Oversee scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Assist the director in monitoring departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
  • Determine and justify needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitor usage, and oversee proper working order and/or stock supplies.
  • Assess the quality of patient care delivered and coordinate patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
  • May provide patient care when necessary.
  • Create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Integrate evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required.
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or Quality preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (3) years diverse clinical practice in an acute care environment required.
  • Previous performance improvement and/or large scale project management experience required.
  • Demonstrated progressive leadership skills required.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina or a Compact opportunity and affirmative action employers and are looking for diversity in candidates for employment: Minority/Female/Disabled/Protected Veteran
