At Compunnel, we are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong knowledge of patient care procedures and have excellent communication skills.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role
This Patient Care Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care services, including assessing patient condition, administering medication, changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, and keeping records. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under supervision.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care efficiently and effectively through practice and communication with patients and other staff
• Assess patient condition, administer medication, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records, and provide patients with support and education
• Coordinate care plans for patients to ensure the best outcomes
• Follow policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures
• Work independently under supervision to implement care goals for patients
• Competently assess the patient on a regular basis
• Fulfill all other responsibilities as needed
• Maintain excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
Licenses and Certifications
• AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
• BSN from an accredited nursing program and proper licensure
Experience and Qualifications
• At least 2 years of experience in a related field
