**About Us**

The PR Net, a renowned communications agency with global presence, is seeking an experienced Media Relations Manager to join our Los Angeles team. Our mission is to shape stories at the intersection of design, culture and commerce.

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a skilled Media Relations Manager to oversee day-to-day client administration, including media tracking, client reports, and briefing documents. The successful candidate will also be responsible for pitching and confirming media placements, developing client-specific media lists, and building relationships with journalists, editors, photographers, and influencers.

**Responsibilities**

  • Oversight of day-to-day client administration, including media tracking and supporting on key client documents such as drafting client reports and briefing documents
  • Work proactively to pitch and confirm media placements, targeting relevant journalists
  • Possess a strong understanding of international, national, digital and regional media
  • Ability to develop client and project-specific media lists
  • Develop relationships with media: journalists, editors, photographers and influencers
  • Conduct research for existing clients and new business opportunities
  • Attend client meetings and manage reporting and follow-up
  • Contribute to client strategy plans
  • Play a significant role in client initiatives and agency events
  • Keep up to date with media trends and stories
  • Build and maintain Camron's media database as well as advising junior team members on the system

**Requirements**

  • 2-3 years of experience in a relevant role
  • Established media relationships in design, architecture and/or lifestyle categories
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and work across multiple clients
  • Aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Competence to work independently and to collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to network internally and externally
  • Strong computer skills, including Mac and PC, Microsoft Office, Dropbox
  • Passion for all things media, social and digital, including magazines, newspapers, websites, podcasts and blogs

**Salary and Benefits**

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $64,000 and $70,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive 25 days PTO in addition to holidays, hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of three days in the office per week, summer hours in June, July and August, and a company wellness day.
