Responsibilities

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in posting processes.
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts to guarantee transparency and compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations, maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring, helping to drive business growth and success.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the finance department, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, with a focus on compliance and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software, with the ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central Software is an asset, but not required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to complete and enter large volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently.
