About the Role
This is a full-time position in our Laboratory department, working an evening/night schedule with rotating weekends and holidays. You'll be responsible for performing precise specimen analysis, reporting results accurately, and troubleshooting problems using scientific principles. You'll also assist with training new personnel, evaluate progress, and make recommendations for improved work methods and ways to increase efficiency.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- BS in Medical Technology or a related Science (Biology, Chemistry, or The Physical Sciences) and/or equivalent relevant experience as recognized by New York State Department of Education for licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
- Previous experience in a Clinical or Pathology Laboratory is a benefit, but not required.
- Certification by American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and evaluation skills.
- Exceptional documentation skills and attention to detail.
