  • Customer Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Logistics Coordination: Plan and optimize routes, manage fleet maintenance, and ensure all equipment and vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall service quality.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of packing materials, moving equipment, and supplies.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in the development of operational budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of all operations, including job completion reports, incident logs, and customer feedback.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other external partners.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the moving, logistics, or transportation industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff to achieve high levels of performance.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using logistics software, fleet management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to make informed decisions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as needed, and work in various environmental conditions.
  • License/Certifications: Valid drivers license required; commercial drivers license (CDL) preferred.
