Job Overview

At Envelop Group, we're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our commercial HVAC solutions team, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales engineers in pre and post-sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales engineers to understand customer requirements and assess HVAC equipment needs.
  • Design and integrate VCS product offerings into project documents.
  • Prepare and review proposals, including equipment submittals and validation.
  • Assist sales engineers in determining proposal price and selling strategy.
  • Prepare submittal data and provide revisions for approved submittal packages.
  • Review manufacturer acknowledgements for accuracy and correct orders as required.
  • Complete orders and track progress, updating status to customers and sales engineers.
  • Maintain accurate records, including contract closeout and warranty execution.
  • Help facilitate turnover from sales to service teams.
  • Provide technical product training for our offices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent training and experience.
  • Previous engineering experience through co-ops or internships preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally with minimal guidance.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and strong computer application skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Travel to customer job sites may be required, with potential exposure to variable weather conditions and mechanical/equipment rooms.
  • May be required to satisfy project-specific requirements.
  • Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet.
