Job Summary: As a Health Care Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will be responsible for providing medical care to civilians and Soldiers in various settings. Your duties will include administering emergency medical treatment, assisting with outpatient and inpatient care, and managing medical readiness, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer emergency medical treatment to battlefield casualties
  • Assist with outpatient and inpatient care and treatment
  • Manage Soldiers' medical readiness, medical supplies, and equipment
  • Instruct Soldiers on Combat Lifesaver/First Responder training course

Requirements:

  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Must meet citizenship requirements
