Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Operations Manager to oversee the operational and administrative aspects of our behavioral health department at Santa Cruz Community Health. This role will be responsible for supervising the care coordination team, ensuring smooth workflows, efficient scheduling, and effective onboarding and training programs.

Santa Cruz Community Health is a multi-site, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving Santa Cruz County residents with comprehensive health services, regardless of their ability to pay. Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the behavioral health department
* Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics, including productivity measures, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions
* Utilize Tableau dashboards for quality measures and performance metrics in collaboration with clinical leadership
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of behavioral health services
* Design, implement, and continuously improve workflows for patient intake, assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up in collaboration with behavioral health leadership

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work or related field; master's degree preferred
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in healthcare operations, preferably in behavioral health or a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting
* Strong understanding of behavioral health operations and FQHC regulations
* Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
* Proficiency in data analysis, quality improvement methodologies, and project management
* Experience with electronic health records and healthcare technology systems
* Knowledge of healthcare compliance and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
