About This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Activity Director to oversee and implement recreational activities for inmates at one of our facilities. As an Activity Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising recreational programs that promote physical activity, teamwork, and personal growth.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and organize recreational activities, including sports tournaments and events;
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive environment that promotes social interaction and team building among inmates;
- Develop and maintain relationships with inmates, staff, and external partners to ensure successful program implementation;
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations;
- Maintain accurate records and reports on program participation and outcomes;
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent;
- Prior experience working with inmate populations or in a physical education setting;
- A valid driver's license;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
