Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist who can educate patients and their family members about speech disorders, maintain accurate records, report progress, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of speech-related conditions, excellent coaching and communication skills, and experience working with students.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate patients and their family members about speech disorders
  • Maintain detailed records of student conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress
  • Report patient progress and current status to appropriate parties
  • Participate in IEP meetings for students
  • Consult with teachers, parents, or medical providers to coordinate care
  • Provide rehabilitative assistance to help patients achieve their speech and communication goals

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of speech-related conditions
  • Excellent coaching and verbal communication skills
  • Attentive and caring, with the ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Speech Pathologist
  • CCC-SLP Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist License in good standing
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist or in a similar role
