We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Coordinator to join our team in Poughkeepsie, New York. This role will be instrumental in expanding our Suicide Prevention program for at-risk Latina teens.

About the Role

This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Life is Precious program site. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in clinical supervision and administration, as well as strong cultural competency skills.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology, with three to five years of clinical supervisory and administrative experience. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including community agencies, public officials, and organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for day-to-day operations of the LIP program site.
  • Provide support to program staff and ensure they receive necessary training and resources.
  • Supervise all program activities and scheduling to be implemented by Case Managers and Creative Art Therapist consultants.
  • Ensure that all progress notes are entered into AWARDS data system.
  • Provide Case Management Services to participants and coordinate participant intakes and family engagements.
  • Triage referrals and patient assignments to staff.
  • Meet with the Sr. Assistant Vice President of LIP to discuss accomplishments and administrative matters.
  • Ensure that all program participants are receiving mental health services.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or Psychology required.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical supervisory and administrative experience.
  • Clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Cultural Competency proficiency.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
