Enterprise Communications Solutions Sales Specialist

Job Summary
The Enterprise Communications Solutions Sales Specialist will be responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory. This includes coax delivered Internet, video, and voice services, as well as custom hosting, desktop security, data backup, data storage, toll-free numbers, additional email addresses, static IPs, and more.
Main Responsibilities
- Actively support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
- Place orders through order management software and work with Account Coordinators as needed to ensure timely and accurate administrative work
- Hand off customer service and non-sales-related client inquiries to the Customer Service department, focusing on selling
- Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within assigned territory
- Meet and exceed performance standards as defined by the department Standards of Performance (SOP) and the Spectrum Way Sales Model
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model preferred; 3-5 years
- Business-to-business sales experience preferred
- Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets preferred
Work Environment
- Office environment and/or outside environment with exposure to inclement weather
- Exposure to moderate noise levels
Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is $100,000 plus, with a minimum commission guarantee. The actual compensation may vary based on individual performance and other factors.
