Job Title: Director of Sales

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales to join our team at the Hampton Inn Oakdale. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the hotel industry, particularly in sales, and will be instrumental in driving the property's revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect for new clients through cold calls, site tours, and participation in local tourism associations.
  • Write and negotiate contracts with potential clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with the hotel's goals.
  • Lead the sales team, inspire and train Sales Managers on the direct sales process, fostering additional business and repeat bookings.
  • Assist the hotel in meeting or exceeding revenue goals across various segments, including Rooms, F&B, Meeting Room, Incremental, and RevPAR Index.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and expense management to align with company expectations.
  • Develop and monitor the ROI of sales and marketing action plans.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of hotel sales experience required.
  • Experience in Downtown Chicago sales is preferred.
  • Hilton Brand experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to negotiate, sell, and influence clients and hotel guests.
  • Advanced knowledge of sales and hospitality principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
