Sanitation Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team at Moonlight Packing Corporation. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment by ensuring all equipment and facilities are sanitized and compliant with GMPs and safety regulations.

• Sanitize all equipment and facilities to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow master cleaning schedule as assigned by Food Safety Manager
• Perform tasks as assigned by supervisor on daily, weekly, monthly, 6 month, and yearly master schedules
• Operate equipment, mix and use chemicals following proper handling procedures
• Wash equipment production areas, and storage rooms
• Sanitize fruit processing equipment such as conveyor belts, pack tables, brushes, etc.
• Clean all types of floors including the production floor with hoses, chemicals, and floor scrubber as needed
• Responsible for removal of fruit in production area, handling trash disposal in production and wash areas
• Responsible for following all food safety and quality procedures outlined in PrimusGFS/SQF requirements
• Responsible for reporting any violations and injuries to supervisor or plant manager immediately

This position requires frequent standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasional sitting, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouch or crawling may also be required.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $16.00 - $17.00 per hour, as well as medical benefits and other perks.
